The reason for me writing this article is for the simple fact that I see to may talented people doing everything else aside from what they are gifted in for a living. But most of this dilemma may not be due to the lack of opportunities but the lack of knowledge and know how. I’m here to tell you that if you got skills or talent or even an idea and you’re not getting paid for it, it’s nobody’s fault but yours.

Here are the biggest mistakes I find in Artist and Talented People in general!

5. Poor work ethics
6. Afraid to try new things, for the fear of failing, even if the new change could change your financial situation.
7. All talk but no action
8. No funds
9. Poor money management
10. Lack of focus
11. Seek approval from the wrong people
12. Excuse Makers

If you are not making a living from your talent then I know you have to fall under 2 or more of those categories. Which one do you fall under?

Before doing anything in life we as humans need to find out what we are doing wrong and try to figure out our faults, only after we recreate ourselves to be better thinkers, we can become successful business owners and artist.

Ok now for the good part… how to make some money from your music! Ok im about to tell you a phrase that you must keep with you until the day you die, ready? Yes? Ok here it is…“Nothing can stop a Hit Song”. If it’s a hit and people like it then they will but your songs and support your music. But how do you know if your song is a hit you may ask?

1. • Sign up on all the social networks: Pimp out all of your profiles with professional looking graphics that represent you. Link your social network profiles back to your own website where you can sell your music.

Now that you sound good and look good its time to get on the grind here are the steps to take to get your music noticed and to Create a Buzz.

1. Go to Clubs that play your type of music and see if the DJ will play your song If the DJ agrees to play your song then make sure you are there to see the reaction of the crowd you can use this observation to create a hotter track depending on how you want to move the crowd.
2. Pass out Free copies of your song and make sure you have tour website address on the CD so that your listeners can go to your site and check out more of your music sign up for your email list or even buy songs or products from your website.

3. Use criticism to fine tune your music
4. Take some Professional photos for your website and promotional products
5. Get a Professional website designed by a real website designer

7. Sign Up for Google Adsence to make money from clicks on your website
8. Give away free samples and downloads
9. Create a fan list: use it to keep in touch with your fans
10. And Much more
